I found the written tutorial wasn’t enough, and this walkthrough they did was super helpful.
WORD OF CAUTION: LOAD TIMES
Unfortunately, Finsweet is fetching a lot of data and making numerous requests. Here are some ways to optimize load time:
- Images: Ensure images are in WebP format and compressed. The lighter the file, the faster it loads.
- Enable Page Count: Utilize the CMS Load Attribute in Finsweet. Turning on the page count element can speed up load times. You can find the tutorial here: CMS Load for WebFlow.
- Use Plain Text for CMS: Use a Webflow “Plain text” field to manually type each reference item. This method does not require a CMS template page in the setup but may involve manual and possibly duplicate data entry. Check out the Finsweet tutorial here: Plain Text CMS.
